Juvederm delivers slightly faster results, while the benefits of Restylane show up in a day or two following the treatment. How long the results will last depends on several factors. The treatment area, the condition of the skin, and even the patient’s metabolism can affect the longevity of the plumping effect. Some clinical trials suggest that Restylane and Juvederm results last about the same time – anywhere between nine and 12 months. That’s because the hyaluronic acid in both filler types is biodegradable.
